  1. Default

    stack and queue both are linear data structure. the only difference between them is stack follow last in first out rule while queue follow first in first out method.

  2. #12

    Default

    Stack follows the rule LIFO(last in first out).The thing which is inserted at end is obtained first.
    while queue is FIFO (FIrst in first out).the thing which is inserted first is obtained first just like a queue of people.

    Default

    Stack – Represents the collection of elements in Last In First Out order. and Queue - Represents the collection of elements in First In First Out order.

  4. #14

    Default

    A stack is LIFO (Last in forst out ).The stack has two operation push ,pop.
    A Queue is FIFO (First in First out ).The queue has two operation enqueue, dequeue

  5. #15

    Default

    Stack is a heap of elements placed one over the other.
    Queue is a set of elements placed one after the other.

    Stack & Queue Both are types of Data Structured.The items in Stack can be accessed by one way in on the top in LIFO Fashion.While Queue is two way the items are added at the rear end and out by the front end in FIFO fashion.

  7. #17

    Default

    A stack is a collection of objects in which objects are accessed in LIFO (Last In First Out) fashion. Whereas a queue is a collection of objects in which objects are accessed in FIFO (First In First Out) sequence.

    Working principle LIFO (Last in First out) FIFO (First in First out)
    Structure Same end is used to insert and delete elements. One end is used for insertion, i.e., rear end and another end is used for deletion of elements, i.e., front end.
    Number of pointers used One Two (In simple queue case)
    Operations performed Push and Pop Enqueue and dequeue
    Examination of empty condition Top == -1 Front == -1 || Front == Rear + 1
    Examination of full condition Top == Max - 1 Rear == Max - 1
    Variants It does not have variants. It has variants like circular queue, priority queue, doubly ended queue.
    Implementation Simpler Comparatively complex

    The best answer, this is how stack and queue work.
