    Default what is star topology?

What is the star topology? and what is the function of it.

A star topology could be a topology for LAN during which all nodes are singly connected to a central association purpose, sort of a hub or a switch. A star topology takes a lot of cable than e.g. a bus, however the profit is that if a cable fails, only 1 node are brought down.

A star topology is a topology for a Local Area Network (LAN) in which all nodes are individually connected to a central connection point, like a hub or a switch.

A star topology is designed by every node (like workstations, printers, laptops, servers etc.) connected directly to a central device called as a Network Switch. Each workstation has a cable that goes since its network card to a network Switch.

Star topology is a network topology where each individual piece of a network is attached to a central node. The attachment of these network pieces to the central component is visually represented in a form similar to a star.

Star Topology is the Topology, where every node is connected central node. Its in LAN(Local Area Network). Eg is Switch or Hub. Benefit is that if any node doesn't work correctly, then only a single node will brought down, other nodes will work.
