The main difference between shared and cloud hosting is with shared hosting you have to share your sever with others it means all the data resources and applications being used by your account also being shared with the remaining users on one server. The CPU, Disk space, Memory and Bandwidth on your server is also used with remaining websites.

But cloud hosting is purely opposite to shared hosting as it environment is dedicated that allows you to maintain your website on the server which is totally dedicated to you.

If your website fetches more traffic then better go with cloud hosting as it is the pay-per-use hosting service and provides more secuirty. If you are very new to launching your website then better go with shared hosting, it is the most affordable web hosting service.

Well thanks for your suggestions. I figure out few cloud hosting providers among those the most leading platforms are: Vultr, AWS and DigitalOcean. Whereas there are some managed Platforms as well like , Siteground and A2Hosting. So what are your suggestions? Among all those which one is best to pick? Many thanks for sharing your information.

Shared hosting refers to the hosting plan that has multiple websites hosted together and sharing resources on one server (disk space, storage, bandwidth and databases etc). ... Shared hostingrequires a dedicated web server provided by the webhosting provider

Shared hosting refers to the hosting plan that has multiple websites hosted together and sharing resources on one server . Most, if not all the web hosting providers offer this hosting plan. Shared hosting requires a dedicated web server provided by the web hosting provider.
Cloud hosting is whereby your website is hosted on a cluster of servers instead of having your site hosted on one server. In case of an issue, your site can be migrated to another server.

Shared hosting :It is the most popular, cheapest and widely used hosting available today you can get it by $9 or $10 per month. In this a single server is divided between multiple users. Each will get shared bandwidth. Where as cloud hosting is a concept derived from cloud computing where you can use the resources of multiple servers and confined to single server location.

Cloud hosting is better option than shared hosting because it can handle large traffic, improved security protection and it's reliability. Another factor and most important is cost.

Shared hosting is the most popular hosting solution that can suit even the most tight budget. But using a shared hosting solution also means that the user has to share the server resources with other users. If you are hosting your website with in an shared hosting service, this means all applications and data resources being used by your account, is also being shared with many other users on one server. Your website will share the same server resources as all other websites on the server such as CPU, Memory, disk space, bandwidth etc. The servers running shared hosting accounts are almost always fully loaded.

On the cloud, however, you will not have to worry about these issues. The cloud hosting environment is a dedicated hosting service that allows you to manage and maintain your website with in a server that is only dedicated to you. So this means that all resources allocated at the time of creation of your server that become available, are for you to use and you alone.
