All websites stand at Traffic the more traffic they get the more revenue they create for the website owners , with traffic and good content they have a nice combination of a great website , but the problem is how can we bring in traffic , there are many ways like writing articles , bringing traffic in through search engines but what i need to know is that how can we bring a steady amount of traffic at all times is that possible ? if its possible how ?

As far as I know established sites do bring in steady amount of traffic. For new sites you have to promote the site by commenting on similar blogs related to your site niche with your site link and social sites like stumbleupon and digg also can be a good source of continous traffic so that your site can be established in a few months and you will have repeated visitors also if you have quality site.

I would like to separate it into short-terms and long-terms.

Short-terms traffic:

- commenting on blogs or forums which have same niche with your site.
- submit articles to article directories.
- video marketing

Long-terms traffic:

- seo
- viral marketing

Importantly, you must concentrate to 2 or 3 techniques first. When you've steady traffics, expand it by doing another tactics.

Last but not least, absolutely you need time to get huge and steady traffics.

yea thats true... time plays a very important place here. You cannot really get instant results. Traffic may be instant but for page rank and long lasting traffic patience is the key.

Getting traffic not only from Search Engine but another way preferably Social Bookmark. I think you must promote your site continue to get steady traffic. It's can't do once time only. You need do it consistently whatever the method you use.
