Windows xp is easiest and simplest windows then the other versions of it while windows 7 is not so easy to understand like XP, windows xp can run in minimal hardware requirement while windows 7 require advanced hardware to run.

According to network feature that is the hyperterminal connection, it is only available in windows xp but not windows 7, so on this bases i cannot say that windows 7 is not good. Though windows 7 is latest and more attractive it is good but you cannot neglect windows xp at the same time. Product manufacturers always place some drawback in their new model just due to the case that their old product can be still used not binned. This is a business technique not to let any of your product go wasted i suppose.
Still i like windows 7 more.

I'm definitely sold on Windows 7. I only made the transition from XP a year or so ago and it was a bit bumpy to start but now I am very happy with it. Considering that Microsoft is going to stop supporting XP it really makes sense to make the move to 7. I guarantee I will be skipping 8 though. What a piece of crap that seems to be.
