Linux has been making inroads into PC sales lately because it runs so well on lightweight netbooks with limited RAM and processing power. Windows 7, though, appears to run well on lightweight hardware as well, which could mean that it's Microsoft's Linux killer.

In my view both operating systems are reliable, but when we talk about the comparison between Linux and window then I definitely choose the Linux because it has user-friendly features, more secure than Windows,

Linux provide extra security to system but window is easy to operate. So in my opinion window is best for me.
