Mac file issue, .cwk file i want to convert it to .xls or .docx etc

I have a problem, i just received some files from my friend who has a mac note book and the files were all documents so the format is .cwk and i cannot open it. I tried many converters, all were mentioned that they can convert .cwk files but they couldn't. Tried opening it with open office.org but didn't worked.

Anyone knows how to do it?

1 thing that i didn't tried and i cannot because it requires a mac system. I could open the files with apple works and save the file as .docx or anything that can be opened with office etc.

Anyone please help.

i have macbook
i feel this problem
but its problem create by saving file.
if you use office word/excel so before you save your file first go on file option there is a
one option of page setup open that and select file Microsoft word or excel and after that go save file and
you must delete behind file name docx and save file so this file is perfect to open other any windows.

I do this almost daily. I use an image converter driver found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable converter option.Then you can convert images to many forms in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open an image ,like pdf, tiff , word document, select convert, and choice a form you want, the task will be finished in several seconds. if you haven't found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.
