I hope every one knows that domain business is one of the best businesses online today. I was just wondering if some one her have sold some domain name for good money. Why domain name is good business opportunity is that because every word has been turned on an domain name, so peoples don't have many choices to name their domain names, they pay a lot of money just to find an good domain name.
So let discuss here about this business.

I don't think it's a great business anymore. Why? because domains are being sold left and right. Also, almost ANYONE know can become a domain reseller.

Domain registering has become so common, just like all these new web hosts popping up. I don't think it's a great way to make a living anymore unless your a popular domain registrar or have old popular domain names saved up.

Agreed that the money aint good... but there's money nevertheless... You can make your living, but you can certainly make some xtra cash... also, i have seen some really odd names being sold for some good money...

Now, a days "Domain Name" business is like icing on the cake. You should have in depth knowledge of domain and it's associated topics. You should have eye to judge market trend.

One things to do when you are playing with domains is to know which things are popular at the moment. For example, when the IPhone unlockin service was found there were again some good domains to get. Just pay attention and be first to notice new, good domain names.

At present, webmasters are more inclined towards spending cash over the SEO practices and attempts rather than buying very expensive domain names.

Domain name business is good especially if you can find an end user for your domain name. You can always sell your domain in resale market for less profit but your investment does pays off. You can also develop your domains for even more benefits. IMO, domain business is still very good if you play correct.

It takes research to find good keywords to reg for your domain. I have sold some before. I currently have an LLLL.com domain for sale, pqxd.com in case anyone is interested
