I recommend godaddy.com. They offer the best customer service in my opinion.

Since you're registering for the first time, you can get cheap prices by finding coupon codes on the internet.

You might also want to register a private account but that would cost you double.

But the prob is about the Renewal charges and also if these guys at GoDaddy are ready to let go of the Domains for Transfer away!!

There you will find a netfirms offer for $5.95. I believe the limit for this is 5 domains per account, but then you can just register another account there!

also, it does not make sense coz as per my knowledge, a Registrar cost for a Domain is around USD 7, so how can they sell for lesser... i sense foul play here!!

I would suggest you choose Godaddy and use the coupons, it will give you maximum discounted price, you can also try namecheap they too offer some discounts also they include a free ssl for a year with any domain you register there.
