You should have been asking this question a few years back. You could have picked up dozens of 3 letter .com domain names for really cheap. Now they'll cost you and they aren't really worth it...

Well Beatle, I don't think anyone can say they aren't really worth it, I mean if they aren't worth it, why is the demand so high leading to the high prices? I don't know but if your asking for like random letters such as BJD, those might be cheaper than domains such as "ass.com" or something like that. You probably won't get one here though, they're pretty rare.

Currently 4 and 5 letters domain are already getting rare 3 letters are just impossible.

All single words that exist in the English dictionary has already been taken...Also, as far as I know, Domain names with 4-5 letters have all gone...

So the best take is either an hyphenated (-) word like kick-ass.com or something like that can be tried for..

There are still 4 and 5 letter domains dropping fairly regularly, and even some good pronounceable 5 letter ones not being picked up on the drop. If you want a good return on a small investment, 5 letter pronounceable domains are a decent bet.

All you'll find is acronyms for 3 character domain names. There are a lot of good ones out there, and I've seen more .net/.org ready for sale. The problem is the sellers expect WAY to much for them.

Personally, unless you can actually USE the acronym, then it's worth it to dish out the dollars. If it's to shorten your url or make extra profit, then you need to back out now.

some of three letter domain aren't really worth it ,why do you choose other domains ,There a lot of good domains that are not so expensive.

I actually think a one word 4 letter domain like kuvy or shey or something is worth more than a 3 letter acronym, but thats just me, and the market dictates that a 3 letter is worth more regardless of pronunciation because of the limited number of them, what it is, something like only 12,000 3 "letter" combinations, justifies the price, I sold doom.com to the video game company a few months back and they were happy with 4 letters )

if you want to buy LLL.coms just make sure you have a deep enough wallet, LLL.coms are very expensive
