What do you think of .me domain names?

What are your opinions on .me domain names. I think they are perfect for some and for others they are a waste of money. What do you think? Do they have value?

I doubt they hold a lot of value.. the extension did not do as well as xpected... Also, its only for people hosting personal content on the site... Waste of money if you try securing your brand in this extension...

I refrain myself from purchasing domain extensions that are not .com, .net, or .org. Why? Because I think those three are the best domain extensions to purchase and they are the most common in the domain industry.

So, I, too, would recommend that you stay away from .ME.

In my opinion they are an excellent extension if the .me is actually incorporated into the name for example lookat.me

They are also good for social networking like sites.

I advise you to stay away from these strange TLDs because they look unprofessional and they don't help much in ranking...it is like .co.cc and .tk...not regarded as authority by google although it is not free!
