  • Best way to sell ?

As far as selling domain names ...
What's the best way to go?

Currently I am running about 40 listings on my EBAY store to determine if this is the way to go? Time will tell.

Just curious what others have been successful with?

You can try: sedo.com, namedrive.com and may such parking providers.. these guys also help you sell your Domain Names..

Sedo and namedrive are fairly popular and even attract some end-users. if you're only looking to sell to a fellow domainer, you may as well use a forum such as NamePros, or DNF.

I have not had much luck selling with SEDO (but their parking has worked well for me)

There are 2 ways.. first is go thru an auction provider and second is contact the owner... Going thru an auction provider eases the process but is a little expensive.. Contacting the owner is a cheaper way but the trust factor is a big problem..

Self Marketing appears to be the way to go ...
But it does take the effort and time to do so.

Everyone is always looking for the "easy way" ... that doesn't exists

Well, if your Domain Names are gud... Then simply wait for an offer and the best way to do it is directly with the buyer..

You can save on some gud amount of money..

You can sell your domains through sedo not only you will sell your domain but if your site has good traffic then you earn good through sedo parking.

I completely agree... It makes sense to popularise your Domain b4 you sell it..

                          Selling domains

There is no easy way to sell domains. I have sold through SEDO who make the selling process easy. You will need to list your domains with them and you may get an offer without paid for promotions; but if you want to go to auction, then someone will have to make an offer first. After the sale SEDO take 10% commission; but that does include escrow services.
As for selling on Ebay, I don't think it's good; but I have bought some bargains on Ebay.

                          Regards

                          Ralph.

After about 2 months selling on EBAY .. it's definitely not the way to SELL
                            (it's great to buy )

spunky.com sold the other day on EBAY for a measley $200
That would have fetched far more on SEDO

I'm not convinced SEDO is so great to SELL either ...
but I do believe EBAY is NOT the way to go

@HappyDomains: exactly my point, EBay is not the way to go for Domains... just doesn't seem right... Its more to sell other products.. but I believe SEDO is a much better way to sell than EBay
