  • Brandable names or existing names?

I know bugdet is a big contrainst for many domainers but given the oppurtunity to have a great domain of your choice for just a bit more than reg fee, or lets say, it was expensive to get a 3 letter domain but not much, would you opt for a new brandable name to develop or an exisitng 3 letter domain purchase? I would personally go for brandable names, i would then develop them and turn them into profitable websites!

I'd also go with brandable names and save my budget and invest it in advertising etc.

I would go for key word domains
chances are you'll get more type
in traffic. Unless of course it's
      brandable like google.com or msn.com

It is very important for a website to have a good name. This is what gives public attention!

Re: Brandable names or existing names?

                  keyword rich hmmm

                  overture on "funnypic" gets 500k
                  and mine is a .info

would the tld matter, I don't think so,
considering I never used it in the tld.
but when your searching you don't usually put in .com either
so there is hope from some of that traffic
