The TLD .co.in does not appear a full TLD to me. It appears like a sub domain. I would choose .IN over .CO.IN for that reason granting they have the same acquisition rate. -

I like .in domain more than .co.in. because it's short, two letters, cute and nice to hear. and also tons of reasons.

same here, .in for me since i like shorter names than longer ones, even though sometimes, long domains can help, either with seo, search engines, or even traffic, i know i cant get one because i dont live in india lolComment

In my opinion, .in is better than the other one. It's more simple than .co.in and easier to type too.

co.in is cheaper I think, but I prefer a .in if it's still available since the chances of a visitor typing it in wrong is less.
Think about it this way, what's easier, site.in or site.co.in , a common mistake would be site.com.in or sitec.oin and so on. Or they might forget the co and just type in .in and go to a different site!Comment

I think .in is better because co.in is long in length but .in is short. So I suggest to get .in .Comment

If asked which one I would prefer, than I would choose .in . The simple reason being that the shorter your domain name is the easier it is to recall.Comment

.in anyday. Short and sweet. I own 1 .in and two .co.in's though
I can see lots of potential in .in , coz of its shortness.
