You can of course get it but they won't be available to register. You'll have to buy it for huge money (Like in $xxx,xxx range or even more) for such domain names. You can visit sedo and other domain selling sites to check if someone is selling such domain names.

yes it costs a lot of money and yo9u would be even lucky if you found one 2-LETTER .com for sale. try http://namreg.com they have domains for auction.

I saw some 2 letter domains for sale at 80k or 100k. That is their current price. And these one are not premium letters.
If I remember well GY.com was. I recommend that, if you have the budget they are very memorable.
Alternatively, you can buy for high $xxx a two letter cctld like ma.vc or so. just browse some forums, and sedo and afternic and you will have success.

There was a day when I found a 3 letter domain I went back to buy it and it was no longer available, man was I so gutted. I can't quite remember what it was now but I was very cheesed off let me tell you.

There are no 1, 2, or 3 character domains available anymore. There is a very little amount of 4 character domains, and you're lucky if you get one of those that makes sense.

You can buy 2 character names @ iDotz.net for $34.95 in the .gs extention

Here are the only NN.gs ones available. Post if you register any. I picked up 2 of them.
