What was the first domain that you ever purchased? Mine was rare fanatics which at the time was supposed to be used for an auction site.

Hehe, my first domain was ultimate-view.com I actually was not his actual owner. I've bought a hosting plan and they registered me that domain name. I was a little boy and I had great ideas to develop it, but not so good to do so

        Re: Your first domain?

My first domain was a real creepy name that I didn't really do any research for. wares4life.com. It shot to a PR4 in 6 months without any good SEO work or promotion. Don't really know if it had to do with it being an ASP site though.

First domain i40.com And I am the original owner. I've never used for anything serious, and consequently, I've never received a serious offer for it. whois.sc says I created it in 1995, but i am pretty sure it was actually a year or two before that.

What you probably heard was you can't register a domain for more than 10 years at a time.. (ie the expiration date can't ever be more than 10 years in the future).. There is no time limit on how long you can actually own it though.. It would be silly to tell amazon they had to turn over their domain name now cause 10 years is long enough!
