cPanel control panel is most popular and widely used control panel. You can add, manage your domain, sub-domains, add-on domains, park domains easily. If your host allows multiple domains under a single hosting account then you can add as many domains as you want under your main hosting account.
You need to add them through your control panel cpanel. you will get an option under domain section, you need to click on Add-on domains icon and proceed further. You need to have registered domain which you can add as add-on domain to your hosting account.
How to add a domain as add-on domain to your web hosting account.
1. You need to Click on the Add-on Domains button on the home page of your control panel.
2. Enter the domain name in the New Add-on Domain field you have registered.
3. You need to add the directory that the add-on domain points to in the Username/directory name field.
4. NOw you need to enter the password for the add-on domain in the Password field,
5. Click on the Add button at the bottom.
Thats all you have successfully added add-on domain for your master hosting account.
Now you should take care to update nameserver for your domain. You will get nameserver details in your welcome email from your web hosting service provider when you had ordered hosting package. You need to contact your domain registrar and need to provide them nameserver which are to be updated for your domain.
Once every thing is perfect, you need to add webfiles, databases to your add-on domains
you can do it by login to your FTP account of your master/primary account then navigate to the public_html directory and then to the directory/username you created for the add-on domain. Upload your files. Your new add-on domain content should be visible now...
