Wow, i never knew people could do that i guess another way you could go around it is by installing the pagerank checker add-on in firefox though that still might not work

I always use http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ because it checks loads of different data centers and is very reliable.. Only thing is that it often gives a site 0/10 if you don't put www. in front of it and vice versa

Most of the pr checking sites providing the fake pr as it is.
I think it is better to check it manually instead of using these tools and plugins.
I always used to search site:URL or info:URL
If you got the same site as result then there is no redirection at all.
But if you get different site result, then you can be sure that the pr is fake one. Thanks.
Sometimes, the redirection will done from another website or another web page of the same website.
Be Careful to deal with it while buying links!
