Suggest me a good free hosting site

I am planning to host my blog into my own domain from this new year. I want to know whether is there any good domain hosting company which is giving away free domains (not subdomains), i can host with them if wanted, but i need quality hosting and domain company.

My suggestion is don't buy domain from webhosting.. Use reputable company like godaddy or namecheap.. I always suggest use hosgator..

Why not buy domain? You can buy cheap domain use coupon in Godaddy.

Even if some host would offer it for free, the service should be at least acceptable. But it usually isn't. If one offers free lunch to the poor, that food must not be rotten. It's just common sense!
