Do you trust Free Hosts?

"Do You Trust Paid Hosts?" and sometimes you can get a "No" answer.

Ditto ! I have disappointed with paid hosts many times just like free hosts. cheap hosting is most of the time gives you some kind of trouble just like free hosting.

I would only trust someone giving me free hosting if I physically new that person. However for me other than sites like geocities which I would never use. I do not trust them.

As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for when it comes to "free".

That doesn't mean you get what you pay for when you pay for it either though! Finding a good host is tough, but you can be certain a good one won't be free.

If the free hosting provider survived for more than 6 months, then maybe, if 12 months or more than yes! Unless they have bad reviews, then no.

I kinda dont trust free hosts upto most of the free hosts.
Free hosts often want ads and mostly those who dont ask to show ads also, are often down and are not fast.
Paid hosts are often reliable!

Well my host has a free hosting plan but also has a payed one and it works perfectly fine for me. Really why they put hosting up for free is because they put ads on your site so if someone clicks on that ad they get money.

I don't trust free hosts at all, because they can shut down at any time and they aren't reliable. I would rather purchase my own webhosting for my websites and put my own ads on the website to earn the money for hosting + make profit at the same time. I would only use free hosting to test out some web scripts, other than that I have no use for them.

The only free webhosts that I can say I trust are thos like Vox.com, Wordpress.com, Google, Yahoo... You know, the "big boys".

I keep using a lot of free hosts for testing but i liketo pay when it comes to running a website.

They won't rule the hosting long. What do they win from hosting paid hosting package with free? There are also a lot of falling projects. You cant trust anything else, except the big companies, which offers very bad packages.Never trust free web hosts, except big companies like yahoo and google. I know, many service providers are providing crazy packets like 5 gigs size and 100 gb BW and unlimited all with cpanel and fantastico. Those companies are usually getting first traffic to their site.

Free hosting can be trusted only when the service providers have a significant reputation in the market and they offer facilities at the right pricing range.

To be honest, I used a free hosting for over the last two years, it is reliable.
Some free web hosting which expect in return is reliable ,such as some free web hosting requires you to be a actively member in their forum.
