well always there is an advantage of having paid hosting. Our webistes will be reliavle and free from viruses from paid hosting. They don't kepp their ads on our websites in paid hosting. I prefer to have paid hosting rather then free hosting.

I have been using free web hosting sites like freewebs.com for four years, now. There cannot be a person more frustrated than me, i am going to buy a domain from godaddy and bid adieu to free hosts forever.

I used to be a customer of freehostia, and while they did a more than quality job than what the average free hoster would do, you could still tell that almost all paid hosting will work to keep you their customer, whereas in free hosts they could care less if you quit their service.

Nowadays Free hosting is in the same level as paid hosting.There are quite a few Free host providers which are better than paid hosting.I would go with Free hosting first and then i might upgrade when the site is growing.

ya i wouldn't even consider free hosting. i also would not risk my website with any no names either. i use godaddy for hosting. plus my domain name is registered there too. i plan on getting a server to host my sites. that way i can cut my cost down.

Free Host cannot assure 100% uptime they can always have drawbacks and limitations in comparison to paid web hosts. In case of paid hosting you get good and premium support which lacks in free hosting.

I would never go with any free host. Almost all of them offer no support, they don't update the free scripts regularly, the uptime is bad, very limited features, their stupid trials to get you to upgrade to paid customer, their bad server load ..... enough said.

I check a discharge host always had advantageous support like paid host but i would recommend only paid host and if you were modern then attempted free host also.
