    GIMP free photo editor for Windows

    GIMP is a popular open-source image editor originally developed for Unix/Linux. Often lauded as the "free Photoshop," it does have an interface and features similar to Photoshop. Because it's volunteer-developed beta software, stability and frequency of updates could be an issue; however, many happy users report using GIMP for Windows without significant problems.

    Gimp is great. I still use it from time-to-time as it simply does some things better than Photoshop. I used gimp exclusively until I got photoshop, but now still use both.

      Gimp is a such of good photo editor. You can do almost all, what you can do in your home with out expert skills, with gimp. Gimp won't be so good for web designers and experts in using photoshop, but it is really for home a good and easy photo editor.

        I Dont know about GIMP but GIMPShop is also available on Mac.

          Gimpshop sucks, gimp is amazing for graphics. Alot of people say you cant design websites with it, but you can. I use photoshop though.

            yea i personally think thatGIMP sucks but mainly its only becuase i use photoshop lol... but gimp is great for a free alternative for people who dont have Photoshop or Fireworks

            Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non-Freehostforum material, commercial ventures, etc. Links are included within the text and image limits above. Links to offensive sites may be subject to removal.

            You are allowed ONLY ONE picture(banner) upto 120 pixels in width and 60 pixels in height with a maximum 30kB filesize.

            In combination with a banner/picture you can have ONLY ONE LINE text link.


            Advertising
            Webmaster related advertising is allowed in Webmaster Marketplace section only. Free of charge.

            Shopping related (tangible goods) advertising is allowed in Buy Sell Trade section only. Free of charge.

            No advertising allowed except paid stickies in other sections.
