well i am also a messenger freak,

morning i start my pc and two things that i start at the start are
1) my browser to check mails
2) my messanger and i am on instantly in yahoo and gtalk

altough i keep my messenger on for whole day but i like to be invisible to avoid unwanted troubles.

Yes...I'm always online actually! But I don't use it to make friends, I use it to talk to the people I already know. I also had to create a new account with only about 25 people because my main account's got almost 300 people in it (so when I sign in, everyone wants to chat & my PC crashes).

I like to use messangers daily . I feel like using them regularly and whenever I found osme time I will be online in my messanger to have chat with the buddies.

I am also online most of the times. Messenger really helps in any webmaster's life. You never know when you get a client from unexpected source :P

But I use YIM instead of this. I can add accounts from messenger at YIM.
The most I use is google talk.

I like the messengers and most of the time I do use it on a daily basis... most of the times I am on invisible mode... I can see others, but they can't.

I do respond to the messages, but only to my friends and family.

Well Instant messengers have become an important part of our life. I think there's only few percentage of people in the Internet that doesn't use Instant Messengers. In my case I use it every minutes while I am connected to the internet
