So what is a good speed to have? I have high speed and it is just at 3 Seems LOW for the bucks I pay, what do you think?

It's pretty much common sense on how fast your internet speed is if you use it enough for example if it takes you ten minuets to download a song then you got slow speed but if it takes about a minuet then you got fast speed. See what I mean?

My dad told me his "other" family has slow speed and my half brother phoned up his server (bell, in Ont.) and asked them to raise thier speed. I am going to write and ask the wording for this, as I don't really get it.

It's simple You can check the Internet Connection speed through Online site....You can check in any sites....
But i suggest the site Scanmyspeed.com to check the speed of the Internet....It shows the results in Mbps...also you can check there very fast.....I tested my speed there...

You must calculate the download and upload speed to get overall of your internet speed. You can try the download speed on the Internet but they usually incorrect cos the location of the server they used sometimes is too far(slower) or near(fast) from your isp. This also will affect the result.Actually it is hard to calculate and its depend on few factors.

Divide the number of kbps by 1,024 to convert to mbps. In this example, you would divide 10,240 kbps by 1,024 to convert the bandwidth to 10 mbps.
