Ha! Cute thread...I, too, use the toothy grin EVERYWHERE. Yahoo, EVERYWHERE. I always have, I don't know why...I hope I don't smile like that all the time in real life. It's just a great emoticon all the way around.

It is multi-functional...it can be a sort of fake smile...like "you suck" in a kind of playful chiding.

Or it can be...."Congratulations!"

Or..."You won the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes, yay"

Just an all around good smilie.

I don't like the toothy version. I do like the of msn. It is nice, and it really doesn't make it so.. well you know propably, it is lame to use a lot of emotications. I prefer most asci art, if I can, but msn have been taking them to emoticons, but what can I do for it.

Yeah that's an error in vBulletin.. they should make it like phpBB or IPB's one. I like the ^^ in MSN... if everyone has that it looks like a big grin
