Hi im a newbie- global cities experiences wanted!

Hi everybody,

my name is ishmael miller, from london in the UK. I recently returned from living in NYC for 2 years, and want to create a website about cultural experiences in global metropolises (metropolii?)

thing is i have never developed a website before and am looking to create something that promotes people's experiences as well as having a dialogue about city cultures/politics/society etc (for example through a linked forum). anyway, if anyone has any ideas about website, any help and suggestions would be massively welcome!

whilst living in morningside heights and williamsburg, i realized that there are so many things to do in New York that are off the beaten track that are not normally given attention- it is these kind of experiences i'd like to promote, as a resource for tourists and researchers interested in radical and alternative cultures.
