Bone loss in women occurs fastest in the first few years after menopause, but bone loss continues into old age. Factors that can contribute to bone loss include having a diet low in calcium, not exercising, smoking, and taking certain medications such as corticosteroids.

      Good sources of calcium include:
      • milk, cheese and other dairy foods.
      • green leafy vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage and okra, but not spinach.
      • soya beans.
      • tofu.
      • soya drinks with added calcium.
      • nuts.
      • bread and anything made with fortified flour.
      • fish where you eat the bones, such as sardines and pilchards.

Bones get stronger by being "exercised", for instance activities like walking, and running. So it's best to get your calcium (and protein, for that matter) from plant-based sources. Spinach and some other leafy greens, and broccoli are some good sources of calcium.

Bones get more grounded by being "worked out", for example exercises like strolling, and running. Spinach and some other verdant

            • Bones make up our skeletons and provide structure and support for our bodies. However, bones also act like a storehouse for minerals that our bodies need, especially calcium.

In general, white, older women are the most likely to have bone loss. This increases their risk of breaking a bone. Brittle, fragile bones can be caused by anything that makes your body destroy too much bone, or keeps your body from making enough bone. Weak bones can break easily, even without an obvious injury.

Bad food, less nutritious food, disbalanced hormones, calcium, vitamin K and vitamin d3 defficiency or bad absorbtion into bones. Also less muscular and very lean non fat body can cause bone problems.

Due to unhealthy foods we are taking and lack of exercises daily to make our bones strong.
