How can i know how to be better than my competitors if i don’t know how they are doing what they are doing? There are many companies in each industry sector competing to win customers and be the best at what they do. In order to succeed an organisation needs to compete in the same channels as its competitors and then more.So can you share your experience in Competitor analysis? Thanks !

The number of competitors plays a very much different role.
Try to understand what keywords they use.
What is the PR of their site.
How many links they have.

I only check their backlinks by making a search like link:siteURL. But this has never bothered me.
