The difference between Yahoo SEO and Google SEO

I spend most of my time to get back links from the quality websites to get my rank improved in Google and Yahoo. I am doing good at Google but the rank on yahoo is down. Could any one point the issue/problem regarding to this?

We optimise for Google, they are the main search source. As long as you getting your keywords into the main URL Yahoo should start to pick up on it.

I think there is no big difference between yahoo and google. Both have their same algorithms and process of ranking.

Google gives more importance to off page strategies and quality content where as for Yahoo on page strategies are most important at the time of giving rank in the search engine. So it is best to optimize the web page with both strategies on page and off page, for getting good rank in both the search engines.

there are a lot of differences between SEO Google and Yahoo.
Yahoo explorer fetches top high authority pages but Google picks them according to site map.
Yahoo indexes those pages who are very worthy, content enrich, high traffic but Google concentrates on back links and content.
