Hi!
I'm a newbie here with some questions.
I didn't see a newbies section anywhere in these forums but please let me know if it is ok for my thread to be in this part of the forum. If not move it, and direct me to the correct section, thanks.
I was looking around at multiple internet marketing forums most of the ones for newbies don't seem to be having much website traffic or activity lately so I decided not to register for them, but I noticed the activity here so I have decided to come here and try and see if I can actually get some answers.
So I've stumbled upon another site sometime earlier this week called bestblackhatforum and posted pretty much the same questions I have below but got no response whatsoever.
Being frustrated I didn't want to wait there for days or weeks when I rather have some answers sooner. Because maybe nobody there even cares at all, I don't know.
I have wanted to purchase online marketing programs but have never been able to decided which one would be the most appropriate for me.
I'll be honest, as a newbie I still have not exactly taken any action to actually apply and implement any methods and have done some research over the past few years regarding all this "how to make money online or with the internet or even work at home and make an income from the internet".
I should have been on various forums but like many newbies I suffer from information overload and isn't really certain where to even begin.
Can someone verify everything I wrote below to see if I have the proper picture of the whole making money online through affiliate marketing concepts? Or at least let me know if I am on track and get the whole idea?
Please, let me know if I have anything really inaccurate, etc.
I get the concept(s) of how in order for someone to actually make any "real" money they need to pick a niche or market first and then must have their a website built around their selected niche(s) and market.
And then they either place ads, reviews, articles, recommendations, etc., of various products and/or services for you niche/market. Or you would have to create or invent product(s) or services of your own.
The articles and similar part is always a concern for me. I never really see myself as a blogger or writer, although I suppose that could be outsourced too. It still feels very time consuming and I'd probably grow bored of it quickly, especially if I were to attempt to make some internet money entirely on my own. I wanted something more simple, easy, and flexible. I still remember how much I don't like writing paragraph after paragraph for various research papers (typically they are around a dozen pages minimum) back in the days of high school and college.
As for creating a website I know that you could either outsource and get some web designer to build it for you or you can try to build one yourself entirely from scratch. The latter being much more difficult if you are trying to make a quality website with little to no previous experience, although they have various templates and scripts, etc.,... I suppose those could help speed up the progress and provide some simple shortcuts. I do have some experience with HTML although I've not use them for a very long time since the days high school.
However my main concern had always been about having to invest additionally into the website, such as web hosting fees and web domain name fees although I heard of cheap and even free alternatives but I heard the free web site hosts are very ineffective in getting any web traffic to them if ever.
Is that part true?
I know regular web hosting services requires you to pay a monthly fee.
Then there is the website domain which requires you to pay usually around 10-20 bucks annually?
It's typically like something such as whateveryouchoosetocallyourwebsite.com or various other top level domain names like .net, .biz, .info, etc.
Am I getting this correct so far in regards to Affiliate Marketing methods of making an income from the Internet?
I also heard of and seen other methods to make money from the internet although they aren't very consistent or effective methods such as paid-to-click sites and paid surveys and various other paid offers, and I'm sure there are others.
Then there is also an investment requirement in website traffic. Although I am aware that there are free methods available through social media such as facebook, twitter, youtube, and so on.
The traffic generation part is a real nightmare because that is where it determines whether you either make it or break it.
It's like a double edge sword if things are going great you are good to go, if not, you would be struggling and besides you would have already spent lots of money on the hosting, website traffic, maybe even a online marketing program, etc., and still not see any return on your (potentially huge) investment.
I've learned that the website traffic you get for you website Must be targeted quality traffic which is also very tricky to get and will require lots of time and investment into proper Search Engine Optimization techniques.
Although I'm certain this part can also be outsourced but ike always outsourcing is done so at your own risk so you would need to be certain you can really trust who will help you on this matter.
Consistent quality targeted traffic to the person's website is the key to generating sales thus making money for the website owner.
It also very difficult because you will be receiving plenty of competition from other internet marketers that are after the same much needed traffic as you do.
Although I heard there are some really good low competition niches, etc. I don't really know at the moment which ones are ideal for newbies. Any recommendations?
I personally like video games and card games and board games, as well as computers and they would be my passion but I don't really know what the competition is exactly for them.
And I know many newbie internet marketers do fail and quit because they aren't able to generate adequate traffic or any traffic at all to their website.
Really the bottom line is this:
What I really want to know what is the best (as in consistent and reliable) way for any newbies to make a realistic internet income with little (but ideally without any) startup costs or investment?
I did notice something on this forum regarding free hosting methods which I suppose may help but I am certain those are going to come with many catches like limited bandwidth, forced ads, etc.,
So I suppose I may still be able to get away without having to pay month after month.
What about the Domain, even if I were to use free hosting?
Because I know that Domains typically requires you to renew them annually, although it will still cost less than having to use a regular paid host.
Is there still anyway to make any money without a "paid" Domain (any free alternatives to Domain names)?
I even found a program called Zero Traffic Income which claims it's methods are entirely unique and do not require the much needed and utterly most difficult way to make any real money using the internet which has always been: website traffic (the quality targeted kind).
I thought may be this just might be the answer I was hoping and looking for being a complete newbie.
But I still was not absolutely certain. Has anyone here ever heard of the Zero Traffic Income system and if possible can any of you give me additional advice?
Thank you for you time. I eagerly anticipate any responses.
