Which is More Important PR or SERP?

I got one query, which one is more important PR or SERP to get a website promotion in internet marketing?????

Please suggest me..am looking for your valuable replies...

Focusing on your sites’ SERP does give you the advantage of having to drive traffic to your site based on the rankings you have. If you are able to reach rank one on page one of Google for a very difficult keyword then you have a huge advantage of getting traffic, where as we know traffic also equates to your websites’ possible revenue. As for page rank we believe that this is a strong ranking factor which means that in order to push your site further up the SERP ranking for Google it would be necessary to also increase your websites’ page rank, however SERP should be of your primary concern and if you do that you would automatically put your Page Rank into one of your sub-priorities.

I think SERP is more important then PR.
SERPs are the most important in SEO I suppose, PR is not useful for today because its not the main measure for google to generate your serps positioning

According to me both are important for a website because a High PR means an authority website. A website you can trust and good SERP means enough traffic to get good ROI.

Both are very important, there is no doubt to it, if you are selling links then you need to concentrate on page rank, if you are optimizing keywords then you have to concentrate on SERP.

SERP is only for particular Keyword. If your site belongs to sell any service or for specific content then SERP is important for you.But if you are asking blogging then PR is more important for you because if you have high PR then you get several visits for many keywords.

SERP is more ***** than PR. Ranking a website in search engine will generate more traffic and business for your website. Having a PR will not generate any business unless and until your website is found by visitors.

If i would have to choose to one option in these two than i will definitely go for SERP because only we (SEOs) know that what is PR all about, normal person don't know that Google provides any PR to websites whereas SERP provide us traffic or meanwhile sales means income so there is no doubt which is more important.
