CPC stands for cost per click.It is basically the cost of something (like a banner advertisement) whenever a click is made.CPA cost per action.CPA gives the web publisher a chunk of the income. This is very different to CPC, in the sense that the potential income depends on the action done, or simply on how many sales were made, and, in turn, how much commission was generated from those sales.

CPC= Cost Per Click means advertiser got money paid when subscriber ads click by somebody on the advertisers web platform or website.

CPA stands for Cost Per Action.CPA marketing is part of Performance marketing which involves an advertiser and an affiliate . Affiliate generate leads for Advertiser and in return Advertiser has to pay commission to affiliates for generating leads for him.

Cost per action (CPA), also known as pay per action (PPA) and cost per conversion, is an online advertising pricing model where the advertiser pays for each specified action.

Cost per click, which usually goes by the acronym of CPC, has two different meanings. For a search engine, the term cost per click means how much the search engine charges advertisers each time a visitor clicks on a sponsored link. Cost per click can also mean the total cost accrued by the advertiser when the ad is clicked on, from just listing the ad to the additional cost of the click-through on the part of the visitor.

CPC generates income on a ‘click’ basis of the ads, whereas CPA generates income on an ‘action’ basis, for example, when a sale is made. CPC is difficult to achieve unless you have huge traffic to your site, whereas CPA is a less risky strategy because you can easily make many affiliate links to other product selling sites.
