There is no difference between Digital Maketing and SEO..

Digital Marketing(DM) is a term for the full scope of online marketing activities. Including, newsletter, ads, content marketing, SEO, SEM etc.

SEO is a specific digital marketing activity. It consists of using common search terms in your written content so your page will pop up when users enter those terms into search engines. Basically, it's when you put the terms your audience is searching for within your blog, e-book, etc. This is one aspect of digital marketing. Not to be confused with SEM, which puts paid ads in front of internet users when they visit any website that allows ads. It's based on the search terms you appoint to your ads. SEO can be FREE.

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a collective activity or practices implemented on a website and outside the website to list the website or page in search engines results for relevant keywords.

Digital Marketing and SEO are not SAME. Digital Marketing is a marketing technique in which we promote, website, products, services or business over electronic media while SEO is a part of Digital Marketing in which we optimize a website according to search engine's guidelines.
