Which one is the best, Backlinks or Content?

[AaliyaAnubhav]

what came first, the chicken, or the egg.

The way I started out firstly focused on quality content that is unique and keyword rich in areas like the top, center and bottom of the page. If images are part of the content, I would use alt tag to describe the image, but toss in a keyword as well. When I was happy with that, I started working on backlinks.

Hope, It helps.

the most important point, content is a king and backlink is a army. you have to create backlink once content is done

Contextual backlinks are most important in SEO. So, you need content as well as backlinks both.

Which one is the best, Backlinks or Content?

What made you choose between backlinks and content, both are two separate dominating factors of SEO!

[EmilyPete]

I think bot are equally important in their places and both of them are also Google's ranking factor. So You should focus on both.

As per my views, back links are far better than content due to the following reasons:-

1.The broken link building method.
2.Back links through info graphics
3.Advantage of guest articles
4.Spy on your competitor
5.Build internal links
6.Promote your content

Both content and baclinks are the best in SEO but content comes first then backlinks.

Content & backlinks both are important. First You concentrate on On-Page SEO techniques used in your web page then you have to move on build backlinks.

[Aachman]

Both Content and Backlinks are important.

High Quality unique content is one of the most search engine ranking factor as comparison to backlinks.

[Sumit]

Both are important and Content is one the best way to earn quality backlinks.

[kriystirose]

Both are equally best and needed in SEO for website. A good quality content helps user or crawler to understand your website or service. Good quality backlinks helps website to rank in search engine. But don't use duplicated and low quality content and increase low quality number of backlinks.

[ClouDNS]

It is good to have both of them. However, from my experience the quality content generates better ranking and social sharing, which helps the better ranking too.

[Aaden Taylor]

Both are best because without good content you can't build quality backlinks.
