  • Which links (follow or no follow) are better for getting SEO value?

I know that do-follow links are better for getting my website ranked higher in Google. However, my question is for external links - from my blog.

I write a blog and I include links to websites with high DA (above 70). I am doing this to show Google first of all that my content is related to this industry from the links, but also to establish high authority for my website.

So, should I use no follow or followed links? I heard that if I have lots of external links, the effect could be the opposite.

Both types of links are important, but they are used for different purposes.
Follow links push SEO link juice and boost Page Rank.
Nofollow links contain Nofollow tag in HTML code. rel="nofollow" is simply a signal for SE which says: "do not count this link", that is why it doesn't boost Page Rank. The only purpose of nofollow links is to get valuable referral traffic.

The No follow or Do Follow links are helps to improve the page rank. But there must be a balance of these links. But Dofollow links are more useful as this links to your site pass on link juice and really benefit your website to get a high Page Rank.

you need both links in the ratio of 70 (Do-follow)-30 (No-follow).

Maintain the ratio between both the links and do not get the backlinks only from one domain as you said you are building links on your blog, find other websites in your niche and start building links on there.

For SEO purpose, dofollow links have more value than nofollow links as dofollow links gets indexed by search engine which is good for SEO.
