Do you think minisites work?

A mini site is a site with about 5 pages full of information and adds on a certain topic and they are meant to be the latest way to make money on the web through adds, They are getting so big infact google are looking into the ways to stop listing minisites in their search results.

So have you tried yet? What is your view on minisites?

I think that minisites are a great way to make some quick money but I think that it is only a craze as such and that after a while interest in them will die out as google blocks them and the revenue drops. I think that they must work as their are some people who have a network of minisites setup to make money from and their fore their must be some profit to be made!

Ive never heard of a minisite before but I think that its a more admirable concept than some other crazes. At least if you filled your site with some decent info on a topic, and had ads, it would serve a purpose, rather than some sites that are only 2 or so pages big, have nothing to do with the keywords that send you to them, are plastered with ads, and have a decent PR. I think that the internet is slowly become less and less useful to find information you need, and is just a giant game, the winner being the one with the most money.

yes I think they do work but only if the content is unique. There are so many copycat adsense sites like for example health site that I don't know if they work if you don't have a high PR
