Well, you can try putting your ads in the hot spots suggested by google adsense, that is, one on top and one by the left hand side.

The best place to start with any ppc ads is to use the google hot spots template as a starting point and track each location by making a channel for each.

i think the best place is a big ad (330x250 or what size is it?) above your content.


when it is good embended, people tend to click there because they think it is your content.

Place ads above the fold i.e. above the point where you would have to scroll down to see them. This for me is a bit dubious, as if you've followed tip one your users should be a the bottom of the page by now! Use if you have rubbish content.

The best placement I found for me was the 250 x 250 format placed within the article content area

It all depends on how the site is designed. Best to always have the ads above the fold & blend in as much as possible

this is an attractive spot many have used for thier forum and hav your logo on the left


if u want it in a website ... then place below your logo will look better

IMO the spot varies depend on the site design.
look at this forum, the adsense is above this reply box. so, meaning, place the ads at where people focusing and see mostly.

I like to merge them without the use of a border or even link coloring.

Placing an image only ad right under the header has given me better results. Nice blended ads also do pretty good (However do follow TOS while blending ads).

Try to position it among the other comment. As high up on the page. I know when I go to site I always notice adsense in those places. Also blend it into the style of your page.
