How to get PR?

I have a website but it does not have any google page rank. How would I go about getting it ranked by google. Do I have to spend any money to get it ranked? Also, does it need many visitors to get ranked?

they said that you would need ample amount of links and traffic to get some pr in your site,. ALthough it is very hard to predict the right amount of links to get a pr.

You just never know with google.
Last week there was a pr change and lots of companies with high pr have dropped.
So, this is a difficult question.

do alil bit of SEO, advt. and get some quality backlinks.....for SEO you might have to spend some amount of money....but not too much...and the most important ..you should have good content on your site.....all this would be enuf i guess :P

If your friend has a pr site,
you can put your site link on friend's web.

Then there is a backlink for your website, and help to get a pr later.
But you may need so many such backlinks to obtain a higher pr for your website.

keep writing original and quality content and at the same moment keep making quality backlinks and wait for the google page rank update i hope this helps.

If you have good high PR backlinks then you can get good PR.
