like everyone else im also a google fanatic. but this thought crops upp in my mind...' for every damn thing on the net ppl just think about google and nothing else ' for them as if yahoo , MSN and other major sites dont exist at all...... for them google is "GOD"

this is just my point of view.... would like to hear your views as well

google has gained god like status due to its quick search abilities, and that too in simplest method possible. check yahoo or msn's or rediff's startup page and compare it with google, google clearly specks out i am for search only.

i have the same views as you axis..google has swapped the entire web in such a short time and thats something in marketing terms too..we all depend upon google these days if am not wrong..and the reason is simple..everyone prefers to submit their content to google first adn thats why we always find what we are looking for..google rocks indeed!

google has done every thing in a big way. it has brand image, recognition and trust that it will not disappoint you. its indeed the best choice on net...

Search means it is Google, nothing else can be compared to Google. Nowadays Google has got into everything and now they are outclassing all in internet. MS is the worst company of internet for sure.

I both have google and yahoo accounts.. But mostly I use google.. Google has lots of tools that really helps to make my work go faster.

Most searchers uses google but I do use yahoo and msn. For me google is not the only search engine.

Google is not a magical phenomenon over the net but people have trust in the portal when they are going to launch their web browsers and then perform some search queries.

We need to understand that Google is not a god, it too has shortcomings. We need to have a viable alternative of Google so that we can do away with it whenever we try to get different results.
