Buying Google shares?

I was thinking of getting google shares based on recommendation from my broker but I'm still in doubt. According to them, it's the best investment option right now. Do you guys think it's really worth it?

how great would it have been to invest some cash in google stock a few years ago? you could retire! but supposedly they have no way to go but up and with the new technology they are developing personally, and the new things they are investing in, it seems like a pretty safe bet.

Yeah, If only I thought of buying it during the initial offering but didn't actually take it seriously. Well, if only I would have made the decision then...wow, could be resting on the beach doing nothing rite now

Well I say yes because Google is one of the best company on internet, So If you will be able to buy shares then it will be great. Please give some more information.

Yup Goggle stocks are the the best to buy right now. They are even venturing into alternative energy which can only be good for their shareholders.

I have bought a few Google shares, they are don't grow to fast, but have an upward trend.

There are better companies, but it's nice to say you own a bit of google!

Of course it is worth it. I have had a chance to buy google's shares when it first launched but unfortunately i missed on that golden chance due to some issues and I now regret it like anything! I would say, you go ahead and buy it at least now, as i cannot do it as the prices have sky rocketed and out of reach for me!
