Don't even do it in sleep. One or two are OK but if you do it consistently then Google will ban you forever.

        be careful with it.

You should avoid doing that but if you do, it doesn't really get you banned if you only do it once.
Try it and let us know.

I would not even click it once unless you are on a completely new computer and different IP address then the one you signed up with and login with to adsense. It is right in the TOS that this is not allowed. I would not risk it.

I would go with: Don't even try with your IP adress, try going to a cybercafe and trying it (CLICK it ONCE)...

Googlw is very strict on that, i know

I am not a Google expert by any means. They do reccommend that you not use your search box for your regular searchs because you might click on an ad by mistake.

There is nothing paid for a search done on your site. You only earn income when someone clicks on an ad.

I see no reason why you can not test the function and the results page to make sure they are working. I also strongly suggest that you not click on anything displayed on the results page.

Google is firm but fair. I really believe you will be fine if you follow the above. It is the way I handled it on my own site.

no, you should not do this. First, you are not allowed to do so, second, they can detect it. so don't

Dont even think about it friend. as google will easily catch you up with their very sophisticated software and tools and you will be banned for life from using adsense henceforth.
