The internet would suck without them! =\ I can't imagine having my beloved Google or Gmail replaced with Yahoo. Ew. Did you hear about Yahoo's "ymail" thing? RIP OFF!

Google is a god, i pray to it every day.
Google holds a lot of influence they can break companies (hostile takeover) they do have the money. About the growing I'm not so sure. but for now they can do w/e they want.

Yeah, you can say that way. The reason is because yahoo and microsoft are both far behind in terms of competition and unless both of them join forces, it's hard to challenge google's dominance at the moment.

i think 78% of people who use search engines use google, so they are clearly the search engine kings but as for gods thats a no microsoft are a lot bigger company than google.
