  • High PR backlinks = higher PR, but what = higher serp rank?

I know that high pr backlinks builds a site's pr, but wouldn't these links also help serp rank?

Forgetting about pr, what is better to raise your serp rank? 20 pr 3 related backlinks or 1 pr 7 related backlink?

What other factors affect serp rank including on site seo?

Everyone keeps saying forget pr and focus on serp rank, so what do you need to do to focus on it?

I think Higher Serp Rank will give you more traffic as for specific keyword your site will appear on the top and most probably people will visit the sites listed in top search engine results..

as my experience, page rank is bullshit, just get backlink as much as you can "with" your keywords in the links, just that what you need

proof : type "click here" (without quote) in google, you will see adobe is in the top, its because many people type click here with adobe url in the link

i had do this since 2006, and this is the real works

some of my page doesnt have page rank (PR=0), but it get top position for high competition (1 millions or better), because its have some backlinks "with" keywords in the links

Getting high SERP is definitely what you should focus on not getting a high PR...High SERP= more traffic. You should get relevant backlinks if you want to increase your SERP...don't just get high PR links but focus on building quality relevant links... .edu links are very helpful also for SERPs...

Getting link from high PR sites increases the link value, trust rank and the online presence of your website. But this is along is not sufficient. You need to make sure the fact that the content of your website is keyword rich and the meta sections are properly optimized.

PR is mainly in terms of the whole site with all content and all keywords but your position on the SERP considers just one keyword. For different keywords, your position would be different. A better pagerank can get you a better position on the SERP in general.

For me SERP is more important than pr. But maybe pr will have a positive response for the users when they see it that is has a high pr.
