It is possible to get indexed within 48 hours... Here's how.

You get a backlink from a Pr8 site, and a Pr7 site. Simple huh? Simple but very hard to do.

the link doesn't have to be from a high pr site neccessarily, it's just better for it to crawled often. Once a search engine spider gets to your site from another site and crawls it, your site should be indexed. Of course the higher the pr, the more likely that site is crawled more often which leads to spiders searching and indexing your site faster. imo

What about indexing though? Even if it's a high PR it won't matter if it's not indexed within a day or two. Still, when it does your site will be snagged up right away.

So does having a link on a site like a PR7 do anything to increase your PageRank? I have spiders all over my site....and I have for a while. Both google and msn. But my PR is just a 3. Now that isn't bad, but I sure would want a PR5 or PR6 some day, the sooner the better. I am looking at a deal right now to place my link on a PR7 site...how beneficial do you think this will be?

This will probably help quite a bit, in my opinion. I post articles about people's sites on a pr5 site that I own and they seem to get picked up pretty quickly by yahoo and google. You're mileage may vary, of course.

If you don't mind my asking, could you pm the info about the pr7 site you're talking too? Might be worth a look.

Getting linked to a couple of high page ranked sites will help with your page ranking, but it doesn't necessarily mean that google will index your site any quicker.

Google will index you site when it gets around to it. You can submit your site to google and it'll find your site in the same ammount of time (many times even quicker) than if you just have links on a ton of sites.

Make a sitemap and submitt it , and google will index your site very quickly.

I can't prove it but i have observed that if you add a link of the new website to a blog or website that is crawled quite often.
