  • How does Google View Word Clouds?

I have been thinking about buying some links on various word cloud sites for a while now but I am just wondering how google sees them?

My concern is that they would just class them like link farms and not give the links any weight or authority - does any one have first hand experience of this.

Word clouds are link farms with pretty colors. Google will treat a link at one like any link farm. What you need are relatevant links from trusted sources.

I think google view them as a SWARM of links. this could be bad for your site too. As in Sitemap it may explore all the way to the links of the cloud. This will cause a huge SiteMap.

I don't recommend using link clouds. They're pretty much beautified link farms. No content at all. Your time and money can be better spent elsewhere !

Google doesn't pass the PR juice to outbound sites if the page has more than 200 outbound links. Word cloud sites have hundreds of links so I dont think they are worth.

Whatever the case, it's pretty certain that Google will look upon the word cloud with a little bit of anger.
