Yes you are right. Page rank is updating and as well as future PR tool is coming also. This tool will query Google's various data centers to check for any changes in PageRank values for a given URL. Anything PR5+ is great. for PR4 you at least need 1000 backlinks. everything under PR4 is easy to achieve.

Dunno why, but if you say that the PR update started... Then how come www.wmbulletin.com (my site) shows a grey bar. (It still can be found on Google so it's not banned)
