I heard that you can advertise real good on various social network sites.

But, personally I could never get it to work that good on myspace or facebook...

Is there some sort of secret or something to this kind of advertising?

I guess you need to find your right audience, that will be interested in what your site/product is about...

see on social networking site the funda that i think works is either viral marketting (scrap flooding each profile) or by using a genuine search to find presepective person's.

better method will be to use social bookmarking services specially digg and stumbleupon, they are my biggest traffic makers.
