That's the problem... Customers tend to set their mailboxes to put all unknown senders in the junk mail folder, then they just click the delete button. I don't recommend it, but if you must then you'd be best off creating your own email lists. Start off with your current customer database, then do some surveys and conduct some research to determine the best type of audience to market your products to.

Firstly, promote your products through online. Maybe you could build a website or blog. Then, offers something related to your products there such as discount coupons.

If your visitors interested with the offers, ask them to subscribes your mailing list to get the coupons.

After that, continue to giving more valuable information about your products to all subscribers.

Email marketing can be VERY powerful, some people make hundreds of thousands a year with it alone. The thing is you have to be casual with your list because they are very valuable and each person on your list has the potential to keep buying different things from you.

Just be sure your message is convincing and highly skilled in english. Else customer will think its spam. Email marketing is the best way to market your product IF you have the list of emails you needed according to your niche.

Email is a very powerful marketing tool. In spite of spammers abusing the medium, email can still be used and is still valued by users for timely, rich and enticing information and advertisements.

I tend to stay away from email marketing although I know many companies use it successfully. I never want to worry about ending up with people on the mailing list who do not want emails. And as mentioned, many people filter their mail and never receive the emails serving to advertise anyway.

Best way to do email marketing is building a subscriber list. Then they will not make you as spam. If you are doing direct marketing consult a marketing firm to help you.
