I have tried in vein in the past few months for spearheading marketing campaign in some famous social networking sites but I have failed utterly to succeed. Suggest me how I can get success in this domain.

This takes alot of effort and it's a never-ending process. Here are steps to follow.

1) Create a profile on Myspace for your site

2) Put some general and need-to-know information on the profile

3) Browse and bookmark as many related profiles as you can (mainly official profiles, personal profiles are little use here)

4) Go through the friends lists of those profiles and add as many of them to your list as you can (This is a repeating process)

5) When you have many friends on your list, send out newsletters via Bulletin

6) Create a discussion group on Myspace for your website and put information on it.

7) Invite everyone on your friends list to that group.

8) Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 & 7

I fear I follow these, I might get banned by the admin of the social networking sites. Posting urls unnecessarily will look like spamming and it will eventually lead to some problems.

It wont get you banned if you are doing it on social networking sites actually.
