    Popular blogs have one thing in common, an individual voice. A voice will not only gain readers, but it keeps them. Learn how to create your voice using these 5 bogging tips:

    1. Create a Blog Personality
    Don't formulate your posts. Let your voice shine through. Give your blog a personality.
    2. Be Consistent in Your Posts
    Be consistent. When starting out, try to post at least three times a week, preferably every other day.
    3. Keep It Simple
    Don't get caught up in the length of your posts. They don't have to be long. They can be random thoughts or tidbits of news regarding your industry. The key is to make them interesting.
    4. Allow Comments
    Allow comments. You can moderate comments, but comments create the viral effect by allowing your readers to interact with you. You will also want to research and comment on relevant industry related blogs.
    5. Focus on Your Title
    Titles draw traffic. Be creative. Not only do they capture the attention of potential readers, but those search engines love blog titles. A rule of thumb is to keep your title under ten words.

        i agree with all the points only thing is the order needs to be changed a little bit, Title of your blog should be given high priority.

          I think the title should be one of the most important things. After all, without a catchy title, no one will be tempted to read. Great high quality content is a must. Make it entertaining, interesting and informative. Once you have people there, you do not want to lose them.

            One thing i would like to add is the Tag option. You need to take care of your Tags in every new post you make on your blog. Tags are the keywords that people will type in to search contents related to your blog theme. Therefore the tags should also be rich enough to cater potential traffic.

              Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non-Freehostforum material, commercial ventures, etc. Links are included within the text and image limits above. Links to offensive sites may be subject to removal.

              You are allowed ONLY ONE picture(banner) upto 120 pixels in width and 60 pixels in height with a maximum 30kB filesize.

              In combination with a banner/picture you can have ONLY ONE LINE text link.


              Advertising
              Webmaster related advertising is allowed in Webmaster Marketplace section only. Free of charge.

              Shopping related (tangible goods) advertising is allowed in Buy Sell Trade section only. Free of charge.

              No advertising allowed except paid stickies in other sections.
